So you have decided to go on a Universal Studios vacation, but don’t know where to stay. Well, every resort is different with different themes, price points, perks, and locations. At Universal there are four different categories of resorts: value, prime value, preferred, and premier. In my opinion, premier is the way to go. I love all the amazing perks that come with staying at a premier resort.
Universal Studios in Orlando has three premier resorts: Loews Royal Pacific, Loews Portofino Bay, and Hard Rock. Each one has its own personality.
Loews Royal Pacific is themed on the Polynesian culture and is an entry level premier property. Escape to the South Seas and experience tropical wonders, exotic fun, and carefree fun.
The Loews Portofino Bay is themed on Portofino, Italy. Come relax in the beautiful and timeless surroundings inspired by the seaside villages of Italy.
Hard Rock is themed on the Rock Star life. Come live it up as a big celebrity or rock star in impeccable surroundings and excellent service.
When you stay on property at any resort at Universal Studios, there are a number of great perks. Those perks include: early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, priority seating at select restaurants, complimentary transportation, resort wide credit card charging with room key, complimentary delivery of park merchandise, and complimentary club to club access at CityWalk. That is quite a list and if all those perks come with all the resorts, then why choose a premier category resort? Well here is why: Free Unlimited Express Pass. That means you don’t have to stand in the long lines. No long wait times means more time to ride, enjoy, and relax. You will be able to head back to the resort early and relax by one of the scenic pools or enjoy one of the amazing top rated restaurants and receive outstanding service. These are just some of the perks that can be found with a premier resort.
Have I convinced you yet? There is one more thing you should know. You pick a premier resort for your stay because of its location. All three of these premier resorts are either a quick boat ride or short walk to CityWalk and the two main theme parks, (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures) front doors. It makes everything feel like it’s at your fingertips.
I will admit, I am a little biased. My family and I stayed at Loews Royal Pacific and we fell in love with everything the premier level had to offer. I couldn’t imagine vacationing at Universal Studios any other way.
